LevanaFay
I seem to be having problems viewing tint maps in Gimp. I've read on the toolset wiki about what channels control which tints, but when i open a tint map it appears as blacked out areas where the skin is and the rest of the map is just the grey squares that usually indicate transparency, and that is just the alpha channel, the RGB channels are completely transparent. The wiki shows each channel having a black and white image though, so could anyone please help me? The 'Layers, Channels, etc.' bar seems to also show something different to what i am seeing. What could be causing this? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.I have the dds plugin for Gimp and here's a picture of what i am seeing in the tint map. LevanaFay
I figured it out so I'm posting the solution here in case anyone else has the same problem.Just select the Alpha channel of the tint map and bucket fill it with either white or black, that should make the coloured sections show up. ;)
