JustAnotherFool
I love Operation Flashpoint, because it tried to do something different and did it well. It wanted to be a war simulation rather than a war game and I'd dare say it pulled it off. I remember setting up two _massive_ opposing forces in a custom scenario on the desert map and watched it play out, sped up the time and many many hours later they were still going on with sporadic gunfire and whatnot. Was awesome to walk around the battlefield to see how it had all played out and finding survivors fighting for their lives. I do seem to recall that the graphics were indeed not the greatest for their time, but that's because they were trying to achieve the simulation and the ability to create large scale conflicts, not the high graphical standard.
