RitualBlack
Everyone has the steamworks version, CD or not. You have a skyrim folder and you place mods properly within it. Here is the default directory, though it could change depending on your drive and OS: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\skyrim You drop folders within you Skyrim folder so the data folders get merged with the data folders, textures with textures, meshes with meshes and so on. Very simple to do once you get the hang of things. If there is an esp make sure you launch your Skyrim launcher and check it off. Also you should click the load loose files button found in the data files section of your launcher. If you get a mod which requires SKSE just follow all the instructions. Most mods include a read-me which is easy to follow. Good luck and have fun  .

RitualBlack
You have to check them off and than hit ok. I believe load loose files just makes sure the games is using textures from outside of the BSA files.
