BC7 and DXT

My Experien with SSE: Talking about the landscape textures.

BC 7 works fine with diffuse textures

BUT it doesn't with normal maps properly, because the new SPECULARS don't work anymore with it. ( Speculars are in the alpha section)

 

So far it seems I'm the only one who noticed it?

Or are my save settings wrong?

 

I also see a lot of not necessary alpha maps in the diffuse maps of landscape textures from my fellow colleagues.

 

Only those diffuse textures need alpha maps:

Similar Spiel with Vanilla skyrim, pretty much all mods have alpha maps in their normal maps that aren't even used. Mine included till I update them.
