While playing my mage character (who recently completed the last Mages-Guild quest) I realized how unfair it was of Traven to just push of the responsibilty of Arch-Mage on me! And then taking his own life before I get to say anything about it! Sure, i could have left there and ignore Traven, but i want to defeat the bad guy and complete the last quest. So what i am asking for is a mod which let you resign as the Arch-Mage (and maybe other guild-head-positions?) and get the rank beneath back. And maybe giving the position to a NPC?
