Skyrim begins Mod

It would be an epic story of a fighter being pulled into the depths of hell, fighting hordes of demons and trans-dimensional beings, foiling their plans to enslave all living things in the universe, with an epic Armageddon battle pitting you against the Devil himself freefalling through the cosmos until you finally defeat him and crash-land in Skyrim. As you barely stagger to your feet on some lonely road, every part of your body aching in agony, some Imperials passing by pick you up for obstructing traffic. The End.

Stuff like hell and the devil don't exist in the Elder Scrolls lore. Otherwise this would be interesting as an 'alternate start' mod, or rather a...delayed start mod? Though it means you'll already be at a pretty high level by the time you wind up in Helgen. We should probably wait and see what bethedsa plans in terms of DLC, though it's likley they won't expand on the Dovahkiin's past. Almost every ES game has you start as a prisoner, with no background information provided (save for Morrowind that is). Guess the idea is that we fill in the blanks. Perhaps the player deserves multiple options in this respect - Refugee, Fugitive left for dead (Great chance to make a little easter egg with a leap-of-faith off a huge waterfall!), Ex-bandit trying to start a new life, wandering veteran with no home? That's just a few examples anyhow. Maybe a special quest that ties into your selected past?

A little questmod that tells the story why and how you came to skyrim before and get arrested!

Wouldn't that ruin the whole role-playing idea though?

....Maybe MysteriousTraveler shouldn't have said that, MysteriousTraveler sometimes gets hated for having his own opinion...
