thatsracist
Hi there. So I'm about half-way through the "How Little We Know" Quest and I've realized the outcome to the path I'm on isn't the one in line with my character. I stole Cachino's journal, and already gave it back to him. I just realized that I don't want to help him now, rather, I want to help Big Sal and Nero now. I'm at the part in the quest where I have found all the information and where I either have to go to that one guy (forget his name) and tell him I know what he's done, or go help Traike(sp?). I do not want this, like I said, but I want to help Big Sal and Nero. Except, even after pickpocketing and stealing back Cachino's journal, no conversation is initiated with Big Sal, not to mention I can't even seem to find Nero anywhere. I accepted this quest through Benny's Yes robot, not through the prostitute in the Gommarah courtyard. I know there is a code (~) "restartquest", but when I typed that in, the quest was gone from my log as expected, but when I got back to talk to the Yes Man robot, there is no initiation to start that quest over. So is there anyway I can restart the quest "How Little We Know" without restarting my game? Am I doing something wrong? Have I not tried something? Ladez
No, this is practically impossible to do. RestartQuest does not account for the dozens of flags and variables that has already been set which aren't directly tied to the quest. OP not being able to initiate the quest through dialogue with Yes Man is a perfect example of this. That line of dialogue was flagged as "Say Once" and will not be spoken by that character again. Reload a previous save instead. It's what they're there for.
