steviestevens
I am trying to figure out how to use the geck. I started by making lucky shades with authority glasses instead of sunglasses. I created the shades and put them into good springs store and the stats and everything look fine but when you put them on they clip beside players hard. What am I doing wrong? FafnirTheDragon
You need to make sure, that all options you chose in armor window in GECK are correct, especially covered body parts and file paths. Compare your glasses with other ones, if there is any significiant difference.
steviestevens
I just took the regular authority glasses changed the id and name, gave it effects and placed it in Goodsprings store. I haven't messed with anything else. I also put some regular authority glasses in the same spot and they are working fine. Like I said the only difference is the name, id, and effects, I have no idea why it won't work right.
luthienanarion
Any time you make a new headgear item in FNV, you have to manually add the facegen flags in FNVEdit when you're done with the GECK. Open your plugin in FNVEdit and find the record for the glasses you created.Find the line under Male Biped Model called MODD Facegen Model Flags; right-click it and select Add.(If this is your first edit, the program will warn you about being given free-reign to break things.)Change the sub-entry you added to have a value of 1. (FNVEdit will display the word "Head" instead of the numerical value.)If the item has a Female Biped Model specified, do the same for the female model data. Close FNVEdit and a dialogue box will pop up prompting you to save.
