henry0608 Posted January 14, 2012 Share Posted January 14, 2012 anyone remembered that oblivion vampire mod in which being a higher level vampire is good and also you will have to actually work to gain vampire level? well heres the thing, I didnt liked being a werewolf and vampires are simply inconvient, and given the pros and cons between vampire and werewolves, i dun think many people would choose the vampire path. i would love to create this idea myself but I simply dont have the skill, any modder out there? heres an idea of wt i think werewolves and vampires should be. i wont bother talking about poison and disease resistance since the damn thing dont actually work, i get poisoned all the time and of course i mean percentage when i use number (magic character) vampire:-gain level by sucking blood or using whatever vampire skill he has, higher level means stronger vampire-no such rubbish like weaker regen, in fact, I think there should be a slight boost to health regen (like 10%, for the sake of balance, not too much, i mean come on, they only die from silver or wood to the heart), and significant boost to magic regen (10 or 20 * vampire level)-improve most of the players magic level (5*vampire level)-slightly faster movement (5-10, help magic user to create distance)-harder to detect in stealth (5*vampire level)-small increase in melee damage (2*vampire level)-small increase to damage resistance (2*vampire level)-toggle night eye (no cost, do lions stop and rub their tired eyes at night? no they dont, so no cost) and magicka per second shroud (invisibility and harder to detect, breaks upon action)-fixed weakness to fire-permanent servent at final vampire level-none to very little damage resistance (to make a distinction between vampire and werewolf, magic and melee)-significant sun damage at low vampire level progress to no damage at 2nd last vampire level-learn to transform (same regen) into a mist at final level, its like the shroud but no magicka per second, feed to extend (deal huge damage at huge magicka cost, maybe 300 dam for 400 or 500 magicka), and also extremely fast moving. i was thinking of the hermaeus mora effect but take away the blue/purple colour, only black, so like a spiral, and when you feed, maybe the purple would start from the side and spiral inward. you cant do anything apart from feeding and moving in mist form, so cant hit and run for ever in a boss fight, also this way the transforming is like the werewolf, mostly its just different animation, i figure this would make the coding easier (melee fighter) werewolf:-like vampire, no crap like damaged regen, in or out of transformation, huge health regen (like 80-100), significant stamina regen (50), no bonus to magicka regen.-no levels, since there isnt any default werewolf skills, not as powerful benefits (overall) as final level vampire but powerful enough to be essential, at least, its a why-not-a-werewolf-if-melee-fighter-40-50 damage boost with melee or bow (stronger means harder hit and pulling the bow further back)-30 damage resistance-improved attack speed (if possible, could it be possible to use codes from dual wield perk?)-more health from feeding-toggle night eye (seriously, creatures of the NIGHT, weird to not have more adaptive eyes) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
