Fenryr3001
ENBs work fine, no problem. But the ones that use SweetFX as well always look completely different than the screenshots. I don't know what I'm doing wrong (except using Windows 10) I tried Dynamo ENB, Midhrastic ENB and Rudy ENB. Like I said earlier, I am using Windows 10. Anyone know how I can get SweetFX to work? dubiousintent
Take a look at the "Solutions to Post-Processor (ENB/SweetFX et. al.) problems" sub-topic in the wiki article "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" guide. Do you have ENBoost installed? Realize that screenshots will vary from what you see due to a large number of factors. You are going to need to be much more specific (meaning providing images for comparison) to get more precise suggestions. System specs will also tell us if you are biting off more than you can chew. -Dubious-
Fenryr3001
Something I forgot to say was that I get an error message saying that it couldn't find "CreateDXGIfactory". I am not using ENBoost. I am using a GTX 1060 6GB and a relatively new i7. ENBs shouldn't be a problem, as all ENBs I have run for Skyrim and Fallout 4 run at 60 fps, or close to it, at all times. dubiousintent
[Edit: added additional info about DXGI.] Skyrim and Fallout 4 are later games which incorporate more "multi-threading" than FNV. Not saying you won't get 60FPS. Just that the game engine is designed for single core and is not as efficient as the later ones, so scale back your expectations. Are you using a 4GB patch such as "FNV 4GB Patcher"? You should, just as you should use ENBoost. Both take advantage of more memory for the game than the 2GB default given to 32-bit games. "The entry point CreateDXGIFactory1 requires the support of DXGI 1.1 which is available on Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2, and as an update to Windows Vista (KB971644). If you are using Vista and only have DXGI 1.0, please install this Platform Update." - tomshardware.com DXGI is part of the DirectX runtime library and is used by SweetFX, not ENB. See "Cause-2" in the "Issue: Vanilla game Hangs on startup" entry of the "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" guide about DirectX and Win10. Check with SweetFX support if that is not enough to fix the problem. -Dubious- Edited January 24, 2017 by dubiousintent
