DJBuster
-First off, thanks for having a place to request help and describing all the info you need in order to make it easier for you to help me. THNX- I am in need of assistance because I am having issues with Nexus Mod Manager(NMM). I am having regular CTDs. I know what is happening just not how to fix it. The second to last time Skyrim CTD'd I was looking around again to see if I could see something out of place, and I noticed that many of my plugins were orange like a master they depended on was not installed. The file the needed was Skyrim.esm. Sure enough, the plugin was unchecked for some unknown reason, I surely did not do that myself. After long attempts at trying to get it rechecked I decided to restart NMM. When NMM was up and running was capable of rechecking the plugin. I went back to playing the game through NMM's "Launch SKSE". 5 minutes later the game CTD'd again. Low and behold the plugin was one again unchecked. I am the computer ADMIN, and I have gone through and applied "Run as Admin" To all the programs that are launched during the process of mod organising and game playing. I am aware of checking the local game files through STEAM, but all the ESM are there and Skyrim should not even launch if Skyrim.esm was not there, correct? And no I have not deleted the INI in my docs in some time now. Also, I see there is a Bashed Patch.esp, But I have not made any patches which is why I have not recently worried about that being at the bottom. Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Long time friend, Daniel (DJBuster,DJBlaser,NRTFS,DAWIBL) P.S. Attached File is NotePad and contains Computer Stats and File Locations w/ Current Plugins Load Order. snelss0
I doubt your game is crashing because the Skyrim.esm is unchecked. Regardless of whether it is checked or not, your game should be running off of the skyrim.esm.First, go to Steam folder and remove the folder named appcache. Shut down your computer and let it cool down for a number of minutes. If that doesn't help, look below.Second, go into your skyrim/data folder and delete your skyrim, update, and all dlc .esms. Then revalidate your cache and reclean your files. Make sure you are doing this properly. After looking over your load order:1. Modern Brawl Bug can be lower. It isn't necessary, but suggested.2. Ensure that your Breezehome mod is compatible with any city edits you are making with other mods. It may need patches.

DJBuster
Update: I did as directed and similar things are still happening. This time I did notice something else. First, I started up the normal Skyrim launcher to make sure the setting were correct, and all plugins checked. As I went back to NMM to start up the game with SKSE launcher, both Skyrim and Update had their .esms unchecked. Seems it is during the Skyrim game loads that they are being unchecked. The game did not even load. Only the setup window. And for some reason, I can only recheck them if I restart NMM.
