So im working on the undernethe mod, and i have an ENTIRELY NEW race head mesh for it but the CS refuses to use it, could someone please explain how to get the new mesh onto the skeleton and working in cs?

I believe that using new head meshes is either a bit arcane, or requires special considderations due to how it is used in facegen. Have you already used conformulator?

i have no idea whatsoever conformulator is so no, all i did was export the argonian head and edit it in zbrush 3 to make it to my liking and then imported that into nifskope and pasted it onto the regular biped skeleton

Yeah... Heads aren't weighted in the same ways that normal body parts are, they are in special considderations. It seems that conformulator is designed for hair/helms, so that probably won't help you. Basically you need the .nif linked like the normal head meshes, as well as needing .egt and .egm files. As to how you get that, I havn't the slightest. Your best bet would be trying to find someone who has already made such a head mesh... If you didn't remove or split any faces, you might be able to just use the files for the default Argonian head, and just swap out the mesh portions. It may appear oddly, but it may be the only solution available.

As far as I can tell, Ren didn't actually change the head mesh in any way, he/she merely changed the default texturing of that mesh. If anything was done, it was likely very minor in nature.

yes actually the head mesh was changed, though as far as i can tell it was only affecting the lips to give them more of a feminine peak, but still in doing that it would have offset the original file format/skeleton/animations and would have to be re-rigged so that would have to be the best way, do you know of a way to contact him/her?
