your going to need this (http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/ajax/downloadfile?id=1000020909)

you can add this within Nmm tools section and Bypass Loot usage for this game, Loot tends to not work so well with fallout's series games.

I'll put to gather the templates for the updates to Fomm and send them to you VIA PM. The program will create a new folder within the main games folder of New Vegas

Called "Install Info", the package I send to you, you need to extract and copy the contents into that folder created by Fomm.

Then, when you run fomm from where ever and then run the Boss application, it will use these templates to sort the load order for you and not need to contact an online Entity as there is none any more.

On top of this, this program will give to you a tremendous amount of tools all in one TaBoot !

Your just starting out, we want you to start on the right foot. This will get you there faster.

her suggestion of FOMM is a good one.

personally I would use Loot, BOSS is no longer supported. But I've never really heard of BOSS screwing up a load order so its just a personal choice of mine.

also whether you stick with NMM or switch to FOMM, when you install any mod that adds or alters meshs and Textures, you need to archive invalidate. when you open either one of the managers, click on tools, then click archive invalidate off then back on.

with fomm, a word of warning, do not try to connect to the nexus web site using this tool, it's no longer viable and will not work, do not try to download files with it either.

For fomm to install anything, you must download manually. Back up or use a different place for all your mods you download.

Sending PM link Now.

Thank-you so much, both of you!

Honestly I was kinda worried about posting here, but you both are incredibly nice and helpful.

Oh, and I downloaded FOMM.

I didn't do that, I'll try that and see if it does anything.

I once owned / had 7 Cats and two Dogs ,of the cat's all but 1 have perished by some means or another.

Still have the 2 dogs, one of them is very small, the other one is very old and stupid for which I need to constantly babysit.

So, I'm used to the babysitting aspect of things.

we need support to remain intact until the game is just gone.

I maintain the basic fallout's all 5 of them for interest sake.

Besides I need things to do...
