yarddogg77
I have 2 installs of skyrim. One in the default location, vanilla only with the creation kit, and one on the c drive but not in programs. The one in the default location is strictly for working on mods and testing in a vanilla game, the other one is for playing. I don't want the saves getting mixed up and my ini files getting over written by eachother so I need a second save game location for one of the installs. I've been googling, but haven't found anything that I know will work. I really don't want to get into using a virtual drive for this, so is there a work around? There must be an ini tweak that I can do to my modded game. Maybe an SKSE plugin or tweak?
snelss0
Maybe just rename the TESV.exe in your copied folder to something else. Run the game in the original, then it will move anything to that folder. When you want to test, rename the original TESV.exe and then change the copied version back to TESV.exe and then launch the game? Not sure if that will work, but you can give it a try.
