conryan
recently my fallout had a problem that required to be re-installed , so i did, once re installed everything was fine and worked so i started to get all my mods back on so i did...once installed and active i went into the game and they did not show the save asking if i was sure missing all the mods , this is with them being active on my mod manager and all selected, so i uninstalled all of the mods and re downloaded and installed them again and its still not working, please help. P.s. some mods also keep disabling in mod manager when i have enabled them every time and i dont know why this is.
damanding
Make sure you also followed the ini file instructions to enable mods, this also enables the game to be able to use loose files. It's easy to forget this step in a full re-install because you only have to do it once. I've forgotten myself. http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Fallout_4_Mod_Installation The latest versions of NMM are really bad about not properly installing and activating mods. Unfortunately they've also stopped supporting it while they work on a new one from scratch. I suggest either switching to a somewhat older, more stable version of NMM or switching to Mod Organizer 2 which has recently started receiving support again with a new developer. 0.61.21 is a decent stable version: https://github.com/Nexus-Mods/Nexus-Mod-Manager/releases Mod Organizer 2: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/6194/? Your ini files? Also what "older versions" of what does the mod manager not support? Mods? Older versions of the mod manager itself? Older versions of the game? What mod manager and version of that mod manager are you using?
conryan
sorry, Nexus mod manager dont support its old versions anymore they just crash if its not up to date, i know this because once it was suggested i tryed and it did so and came up saying, and the Ini Files are correct when checked and redone in case and its all still not working Edited January 26, 2017 by conryan
damanding
So a full uninstall, then install of an older version of NMM doesn't work at all? Or did you try installing an old one over a newer one? If a clean install of an older version doesn't work, this is new. But frankly I'm not sure I buy it because they pretty clearly stated they're no longer releasing updates for NMM and a change of that nature would be an update that frankly doesn't make any sense because they know the recent versions are bugged and people will need to use older ones for now. So I suspect you didn't do a clean install.
