Cheesehole
New Vegas brought back Nightkin and Honest Hearts/Old World Blues brought us Spore Plants. Seeing from the rather famous Monster Mod, I was thinking why nobody would have thought to include Floaters and Wanamingos to the Mojave wasteland, in addition to increase spawn points for the former enemies. The difference from using monster mod and making a mod for these is not just the stability, but also so that it wouldn't clutter up the whole wasteland fully with these monsters. Logically, each of these monsters would have their own place to be. -Super Mutants has been harrassing travelers at Interstate 15 as Mr.New Vegas says, so why not to add upon the roads edges some of these muties? -Spore Plants would not survive in just any place at the desert, so they would appear upon places with water, say, Lake Las Vegas & Mead, and down from the Hoover Dam. -Floaters are FEV-infected mutations, they would have their place upon same places as Centaurs would likely be, in highly irradiated ones. -Wanamingos are quite lorebreaking, if we go through the Fallout Bible's rules, but who is to say some nuts man wouldn't had carried eggs along with them. The locations for such critters could be out from local civilizations and such. This has been the idea I wanted to let out quite some time, and also find modders resource for the titular creatures, so that it could be done. I appreciate your reading beforehand. Magfol
Well, wanamingos were considered for Fallout3, as evidenced by concept art showcasing their vision for wanamingos. This idea was scrapped, which means had they gone through with it, it would mean that US had widespread plans of the FEV distributed along the continent. If wanamingos could be found in the east coast, they could be found in the mojave as well. Maybe some military base experimenting with FEV.
