"Download with manager" only on older versions?

Doesn't matter what mod, but the green "download with manager" button is only clickable on older versions of mods. Is this only happening to me or is there something I'm not seeing?

 

EDIT: It works now, I had to log onto the site for the newest file to get the manager download button.

Certain mods require you to manually download the mods, but most of the newer mods are being created to accommodate the mod manager. I suspect in the future the newer mods will be adopting them more and more, and that's good since the newer mods are going to be AMAZING.

That's not the problem, it's with mods that fully support it. I go to files and see all the older versions of the file having the green button for downloading with the manager, but never the newest file.

When I download mods that have the "download with mod manager" green button, It doesn't even take me to the file selection page, it just downloads it directly to my mod manager. Do you know how to install the mod wants it's in your mod manager?
