Hey all,

I have a couple questions.

The first is about the mod JB3 textures. Do you really just put the whole JB3 folder in the overide folder? Or do you take the stuff from the folder and put it in the overide?

Second, I would appriciate any suggestions on mods that increase graphics and immersion. I currently have Dragon Age Redesigned and JB3, if there are any others that would go along with those, I'd be grateful.

Thanks guys!

JB's is now up to: JB3textures

As noted in the Description, installation is:

1. Download the files.

2. Unpack the files using WinRAR / WinZip / 7-Zip.

3. Once you unpack the files, you will get a folder called 'JB3' for each part.

4. Copy this folder to your game installation folder [default] C:\Documents and Settings\...\Bioware\Dragon Age Origins\Packages\Core\override.

5. Done. Any problems? Go ahead and ask! (the author  )

And there are reports of incompatiblities with "DA Redesigned", which requires "Dracomies True Textures", as noted in its Description:

I haven't tried to use either one, much less both, so can't speak from experience.

Ther are two seperate downloads involved:

  Quote
JB 3 textures, 28,889 unique downloads, 94,115 downloads

This file is a multi-part file. It has been split in to several smaller files to make it easier for everyone to download. Download each part to the same folder and then extract the file like you would a normal one.

Part 1 (283,116kb) Part 2 (242,297kb)

Well, as far as I can tell I put the mod in correctly. But I don't see any change in game so, I'm not sure if I did something wrong or not.

I know it's probably not a factor, but what setting are you using for "Graphics Detail"?

Hi-Res textures (vanilla or custom) will only come into play at "Very High".

I have them set to as high as I can set them.

And now I'm experiencing some graphics glitchs in Lothering, gonna try removing the mod to see if it goes away.

Also, am I able to use the Generic Mod Enabler with Dragon Age?

a) You didn't answer my question. I asked what you had it set to, (not if you could set it higher.)

b) Never heard of "Generic Mod Enabler". What is that?
