scottym23
When disenchanting items, you can't disenchant another item that has the same enchantment (which makes sense at first). But when I disenchanted my item that increased the damage my 2h weapons do by 15%, then later in the game found one that was the same enchantment but was 30%, I wasn't able to disenchant it. Can someone make a mod for this maybe, where enchantments that have different percentages are counted as separate enchantments altogether?
c14rk0
Items (most anyway) should all have the same "base" enchanted level. So when you disenchant an item and then find another stronger version both give you the same enchant when you disenchant them, it wouldn't be stronger if you had disenchanted a different version. This base level is then effected by your enchanting skill, soul gem, etc when you go to enchant it onto an item. http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Enchanting_Effects lists all the different effects and base values
