PennywiseTheClown
I think it'd be easiest to clarify what I mean here by actually pointing to a mod for an earlier game which does the same. This deceptively named mod for New Vegas essentially hacked off all the neat little details and gadgets from normal outfits (as well as made a few of their own) and assigned them all to hidden bodygroups which were almost never used in-game; essentially giving the player the ability to freely add accessories to all of their outfits and further personalize their looks. Now what could this mean for Skyrim players? It means that, if executed similarly, the Dovahkiin could at any point accessorize his main armor with stuff like- Individual furs from Fur Armor, The Archmage torso covers, and the shoulder lining of Jarl robes- Any of the pauldrons from the various armor sets- Bones from the Forsworn armor- A large variety of belts, buckles, and the like; including such things as the shoulders of Thalmor Attire and the pouches of Thieves Guild Armor- Items previously unavailable to the player, such as the Head Bandages or Ulfric's gag from the intro- Chitin from Falmer Armor- The bicep bands from Ancient Nord Armor...As well as anything else an ambitious modder could further find or cook up. I personally enjoy being able to customize my character as much as possible, and have been actually waiting for such a mod to make it to Skyrim. Agree/disagree?
