Poisons Mod?

Hey everybody, I was just humbly submitting a request for a simple mod... could someone make a mod to make poisons applied to weapons last significantly longer? To account for the fact that poisons can get quite ridiculously powerful... maybe a mod that makes poisons applied to weapons last for 25 hits at 20% poison strength, rather than simply one hit, or two if perked?

 

Plus, and here's a bold request... any way to allow several poison applications at once? Apply ~20 poisons for 500 hits? Maybe automatic re-poisoning? Anything like that to make poisoning weapons more convenient!

 

Alchemy is good, but poisons suck! Let's provide a fix for master poisoner thieves!

Now THAT is a good idea. :) Poisoning over TIME... + stacking effects TO that time--with a cap maybe...

 

That said... a few other things come to mind with this:

 

1. Essentially, you're asking for a poisoning ENCHANTMENT! Which could be recharged with soul gems ... OR POISONING POTIONS after so many hits!! Good stuff--it's likely DOABLE without the CK... even if you're limited to soul gems only for recharging... :)

2. Some modder on the skyrimnexus applied this concept (of "over time") to HEALING potions (and mana/stamina) that heal over time--which ALSO makes much more sense than being about to die with 1 of 500 HP left... and then literally an INSTANT later, you are fully healed, lol. Same with stamina, although I suppose with mana it's debatable since there is already the entire replenish/regen mana %.

3. Poison should do a LOT more to a character/player over time... you know... after 60 seconds--blah blah blah... after 5 minutes, blah blah... after 12 hours... etc. etc.

4. Why in the bloody heck can't you (or enemies) be *CURSED*?!? And then FORCED to go to temples to have those curses removed?

 

I stole #4 from the old Might & Magic series of games. :) Clouds of Xeen and World of Xeen and such... good stuff.
