JMMcNemo
Definetly definetly. I agree with all of the above. I almost wonder if these things where not developed to provide some 'end game'. Unfortunetly, I don't want end game. I would have been cool if the Forsworn had a deeper quest line. The way I see it you have end game, and then you have End Game. Completing a major quest deserves a bit of splash and dazzle, and agreed, most folks (myself included) want to keep playing (I loves me some dungeon crawlin', for example). I have noticed most bosses will have a Cool Item (Oooh! Aaah!), which is a good start, but when you lead a major organization you really should get more than shiny stuff. After I wrote my original post, I went back to the college after completing that quest (I'm the freakin' archmage, primarily because I did some stuff any one of them could have done and the old archmage is kinda sorta dead [endspoiler]) and was given the task of repairing a tear, some kind of magical rift that was spitting out those ice-polywogs. This is not archmage duty, in my head, but it *IS* much better than giving me the job and ignoring me for the rest of the game. I'm still cheesed off at not getting a "Thank you, Dovahkiin" for finishing the main quest. A cut scene, some awesome music while the credits roll, and a "The Skyrim Production Team thanks you for playing our game" seems wholly appropriate, even if it does leave you at the exact same place otherwise, ready for more dungeon crawlin'.
