MyLumpyBed
Hi nexus modding community, I've always really liked the Tropical Skyrim mod by Soolie, but for various reasons I've never really played with it. I've always loved the idea of a tropical/desert area in Skyrim (that, unlike the majority of 'tropical island' mods out there, I would have a reason to go to), but couldn't really find any alternative to Tropical Skyrim. Upon reading Soolie's mod page, I saw that one of the reasons he chose to make a tropical Skyrim instead of a tropical new-land was in the interest of time, so I was wondering whether or not the same would be possible for other already made new-lands mods, like Falskaar and, to a lesser extent, Wyrmstooth (both of which, mind you, suffer from the over-use of vanilla assets). I realise that tropical Skyrim works by replacing textures and meshes, and that it would be difficult to replace and touch up specifically the assets used in Falskaar or Wyrmstooth, but in theory very little to no new adjustments to textures and meshes would be required (although I could see it being necissary in some regions). Ultimately, though I don't know how long it would take, I think it's relatively reasonable and an interesting idea to play around with. TLDR: Can someone make Falskaar or Wyrmstooth tropical in the same way that Soolie made Skyrim tropical in his mod?
