Scripting conditioning

Hey there out there fellow modders and geeks,

 

I was hoping that someone in here would be abe to hel me out here,

Im making a mod with a "moddable" armor,

and i want to make some weapon and armor pieces that can only be equipped

if said armor is equipped.

 

So my yhoghts is this (and it should be said that i havent scripted anything in the g.e.c.k. yet)

that i put a script on the armorpiece that sets a valuable somewhere to 1 or 0 if its on or off

and then another script on the other items that checks the valuable and if its 1 then lets it stay equipped

or if its 0 it unequips it again...

 

Well thats my thoughs on the matter, put mscripting skills at this poit is pretty much limited to

PHP and a bit of javascript, nothing in the geck at the moment,

so if a kind soul or two out there could point me in the right direction on this it would be greatly

apreciated,
