marchegiano
Zero conflicts, but he may have increased the uGridsToLoad setting, used dubious ini tweaks and/or have a bunch of loose mesh or texture files that are corrupted or using an incompatible format  I hate to derail, but I reckon one of yous guys probably have a quick answer or link for me. What do you mean by dubious ini tweaks? Do you mean the ones that come up when you search "fallout 4 mod guide" have become old and no longer useful or do you mean more custom ini tweaks? Also, where does one go for updated information on how the ini's should be set? I didn't think we had to do anything special given the integrated ingame mod manager, but around my 13th mod (superman mod from here) gave me issues until I made required changes to fallout4custom.ini. I went ahead and changed fallout4.ini and fallout4pref.ini trying to be proactive. Now I'm reading these changes could have been a mistake? I don't have a crashing issue unless I load the grognak companion mod and use VATs, but I do have some mighty long load screens no matter what mods or lack of are enabled. thanks for any information pals. I swear yous young people are mega geniuses. Edited February 3, 2017 by marchegiano
damanding
This site has the current recommended ini tweaks to use: http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Fallout_4_Mod_Installation. I think what Steve40 meant by "dubious ini tweaks" are a combination of the outdated mod enabling instructions as well as more custom tweaks for performance, camera changes, etc. that some people suggest. I think if you're using the in-game mod manager it will work with any mods which have all assets packed in ba2 archives but mods which use loose files won't be recognized by it without the ini changes from the above link necessary to use mods. But I've not fully tested that assumption as I don't like the in-game mod manager. All mods on Bethesda.net are required to have assets packed into archives, Nexus doesn't require that. So quite a few Nexus mods have loose files.

I mean people tweaking their [Papyrus] ini settings thinking that it somehow allows their video card to use more vram, when what it actually does is barfs the script engine in most cases.
