DanteNick11
So for various reasons, I know that I and many other people would like to be able to set the names for certain NPCs (renaming their horse, dog, spouse, etc), but the console command "SetActorFullName (name)" in Skyrim only allows one to rename things from a list of names of set in-game objects & people via their MESG codes. So, to get around this, I was wondering if there is a way to input our own MESG codes into the game's files directly, no mods needed, so that we could enter in our own names and assign our own MESG codes to them for the console to reference. So, my question is this: Does anyone know where the MESG codes are located within the game's files, and how one could go about adding to the list/editing them? Thandal
Bumping is frowned on here at the Nexus. (See the Site Owner's rules here: All newbies read this before posting.) Bumping your own thread is considered downright rude. Bumping it after less than two hours gets the topic locked.
