Aethelrica
I've just updated to 1.3.10 (PC) and have started getting freezes and CTDs on moving from one cell to another, whether through a door, fast travel or hired wagon. I can round most of these with patience by doing something else, resaving and trying again. However after finishing the Abandoned House quest I can't leave Markarth, even using COC in the console. Incidentally the only destination which ever does work with COC is Whiterun, but that's another puzzle. I was using 1.3.07 with the 4GB fix (and the same mods as I have at present) and it was rock steady - looks like the update is to blame. So how do I fix it? I could go back to my last 1.3.07 savegame, as I archived the whole Skyrim folder + saves before updating, but that would lose 15 hours of gameplay. Aethelrica
Sorted this by toggling collisions and moving out of Markarth. Landscape was weird and I couldn't fast travel until I'd gone quite a distance away, but it worked eventually. What a crock.
wesclements
This happened to me by jumping off the balcony from the museum to the lab, into the town, but your not really in town, the game thinks your still on the balcony and the balcony is travel locked. lol The only fix is to do what you did. Aethelrica
I've been back to Markarth since 'escaping' and the problem persists. When I do get outside, even after I toggle collisions back on, the landscape is bare of flora, fauna, weather and water, and looking back at the city a large part of the walls around the gate is missing. There's no stable either. This persists until I get far enough away to fast travel - on arrival at my target the world model is complete again.
