No Mouse or Menus on Start Up

So I launch NV. There is no mouse and it takes a couple of seconds for the music to start. When the intro screens are over there is no menu. I have tale of two wastelands running and here is my load order:

Your problem is most likely "too many plugins in the Data folder". All ESP and ESM files found in Data get loaded and count against the cap (active or not), of which 140 is only a guideline. Your specific cap depends upon your mix of hardware components and system RAM usage. (My cap is 129 for instance.) Prioritize your mods, and then install and test one at a time to pin down that limit.

 

Since you are starting over, suggest you read the "FNV General Mod Use Advice" wiki article first.

Finally, have patience. There aren't as many active forum users for a 6 year old game, much less those with an answer to a particular problem. Give it at least 24 hours for a response before you take drastic action like wiping out your game and restarting.
