cyntec Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 Hi There! For some reason some of the hard-coded buttons don't work while playing Skyrim, including the R button used to put things in containers or trade with a companion and the E button used to take books. I am using Skyrim Key Helper and but I don't think that's the problem. I've also tried replacing the new TESV.exe, Skyrim - Inerface.bsa and Update.esm with the older ones as instructed in other threads but when I do this and try playing the game a message pops up that says I need to update to the latest version of Skyrim (I am using SKSE to start the game). Has anyone else had this issue?
x2ruff4ub Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 Ya just noticed the problem and been had it since the new updates. Any fix?
Remcoz Posted February 27, 2012 Posted February 27, 2012 Hihoo :) Did you (like me) remap your weapon ready/seathe key ? By default it's "R" ... I remapped to numpad0 .When I'm in inventory/craft menus , I just hit numpad0 instead of "R" , and dropping/take all/crafting works well like that ^^Ofc , in these menus , you'll still see "hit R to craft". But if you want a real fix , check on nexus/bugfixes for a mod called something like : "On-screen-interface-key-fix" Hope it helps ;)
