mazakala
I haven't seen any tutorials, but as we don't have the CK yet making houses is extremely tedious and time consuming, and prone to create bugs... also you can't even make houses that NPC:s can navigate. Basically it involves a lot of copying, and numbers. Google "Mod interview with Shawkab" Edited January 17, 2012 by mazakala
NorthWolf
Unless you're a very experienced modder I would forget about it until the Creation Kit hits. When the Creation Kit becomes available it'll be a simple affair and a pretty easy way to get introduced to modding, I imagine.
gengrimm
If you have the Elder Scrolls Oblivion or Fallout 3/new Vegas you can use their Creation kit/toolsets to practice. The creation kits will likly be 90% the same.
PhantomDot1
ok, what do u guys suggest which part i should try to mod first ? like what else than a house ?
NorthWolf
Learn how SkyEdit works, would be my suggestion. Unless the Creation Kit is a lot more powerful than previous renditions you'll need SkyEdit to do fine tuning of any given mod, or in the very least to clean up junk resources for optimization/conflict purposes. gengrimm
Start with a house. It will teach you all the basics of using the tool set that you will need to do anything from gameplay changes to quests. Use the Fallout 3 GECK wiki as a guide. ACSputnik
I can almost taste the creation kit! I just hope it comes before Jan 27th as that is the first day of classes for my grad school, and I gotta focus on my last year!
