ContagiousCure
For as long as I can remember I have been using these two mods: No Persistent Enchantment Glow Fix (http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1843) and No Glow A Go Go (http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=4987). But recently I decided I wanted to play Oblivion with the glow effects but even after deactivating the mods, my enchanted armor and weapons still don't glow aside from an initial glow effect that only occurs for enchanted armors or jewelry. Was this effect officially removed in a patch since I first played Oblivion on its release?

It did this by adding some data files that did all the work. You might have to look at each of mod's data files you used to remove the glow and see what it puts into your install and then delete them from your data files. Raffer
My game (Oblivion without add-ons) is patched and the glow was always there until I removed it with a mod. Have you removed the files or just deactivated the mod? I have read that some files can stay active even when you deactivate the mods.
