Ferodaktyl
http://img843.imageshack.us/img843/7223/tesv2012011721134745.png As you can see in the image above, there is a small rectangle around the marker that is my char's position on the map. This rectangle follows the marker when i move around, except when i am on high ground ( mountains) or near other map markers, and has the texture of water as seen on the map. It is not a big problem ( actualy i didn't noticed it before), but lately i'm trying to play the game without the compass markers and the GPS that the map actually is , using Skyrim Compass Tuner, and this ... rectangle makes disabling my position on the map useless, thus making what was supposed to be a static map into the GPS that it is. i've deactivated all the mods i've been using, even reverting to a clean installation of the game, yet the problem persists. I know it's a small problem, but any help would be kindly appreciated.
Ferodaktyl
bump...Could it be related to some FXAA Tool options?
rastamanfromjamaica
Same problem here...will check tonight if fxaa is causing this! :armscrossed:
Ferodaktyl
apparently the problem persists even after uninstalling FXAA Tools. When i scroll the map it also seems that there are 2 such squares, one over the other, so when the map is positioned over the current position marker only the upper one is visible.BTW, uninstalling FXAA removes all changes made by it? rastamanfromjamaica
Did you check if uninstallation of landscape-texture-replacement-mods solves this? Edited January 20, 2012 by rastamanfromjamaica
