Darkstick
Hey! I've been on the nexus for what? 7 Years? And it's the first time i post something on the forum(i don't count the response to mods). I will start by apologizing for how i will butcher the english language on this post. So i was testing my "Vault Leather" mash-up and i found the road leather part of the armor was clipping with armors pieces, i was going to manualy rescaling the pieces using bodyslide until i remarked that the armors pieces where scaled for the Vault Suit part of the armor(the one under the road leather part) and was causing the clipping... http://img11.hostingpics.net/pics/122243RoadNoClip.pngThe Road Leather with a set of heavy leather armors. http://img11.hostingpics.net/pics/366492VaultClip.pngThe Vault Leather using the same set, look all of this ugly clipping(and the back is worst) So my question is : how can i make the armors pieces scale to the Road Leather part? Do i need to use nifskope for that? Edited February 2, 2017 by Darkstick
Genamine
I dont know of any tools that let you work with it easily, but its controlled by the bone data tab in the armor addon of the underarmor To my knowledge, the only current way of doing anything with it is by manually editing the values of each bone (its relatively intuitive, the values are XYZ values, 0.4 in X means it inflates the equipped armor by 40% in the X direction for that bone)You will want to check if theres any tools to make life easier by now though, its been over half a year since I last worked with this
Darkstick
Now i know in what direction i should search, thank you! Edit : Soo by replacing the Road Leather model by my own the armor scale, so it's not a meshes problem but a script one. I think i will rebuild the .esp by using the road leather as a base instead of the vault suit... Edited February 2, 2017 by Darkstick
sinlessorrow
The vault suit bone data is what every piece of armor was built around. So that's basically your control setting.
Darkstick
Okay, i'm dumb... I have completely misinterpreted what Genamine was saying(i think he was talking about nifscope)... So for thoses who are in the same situations : the bone data section are in the Armor Addon section, i recommand to use the Armor Addon of the bigger outfit of your mash-up(for me it was the Road Leather one)... Thank you for your help.
Genamine
Allow me to clarify, there are two ways of doing this: 1 - Open up your mod in FO4Edit, navigate to the armor addon of your armor, select it, and navigate to the Bone Data tab (see screenshot in spoiler) http://puu.sh/tN2mQ/f6f96aabb0.png 2 - Extract any SCLP file with Bethesda Archive Extractor (tool can be found on the Nexus) from "Fallout4 - Meshes.ba2", open the SCLP file with notepad (see screenshot in spoiler)Then proceed to open your mod in the Creation Kit, navigate to your armor addon and select import SCLP data http://puu.sh/tN3am/e489fd5d9c.png The first method is arguably the easiest, should it not work, I would recommend the second method (note that the SCLP file needs to have the same name as the NIF file of your armor, and needs to be in the same folder as said NIF file)
