Wyattburp
Anybody know if there's a way you to use your keyboard buttons like (skip, pause, volume) while in Skyrim? These buttons do not work for me while I am running Skyrim. Example. When Skyrim is running and I am maximized in-game. I can no longer control Windows Media to skip tracks, pause tracks or play tracks. While Skyrim is maximized, I can't even adjust the Windows volume. I am trying to play Skyrim while Windows Media (or any media) is running in the background. But I cannot skip and pause songs while Skyrim is running. Any workaround other than minimizing all the time? Minimizing is not an option for me on this temporary laptop as Skyrim will fail to maximize after. Zychrondac
I've found that SHIFT+TABing within the Steam framework of Skyrim allows me to use my Windows keys. Just SHIFT+TAB back into the game when you've made your adjustments/messaged your friends/looked up info in your Steam browser. Hope this helps. ChemicalOne
i had same problem as u have, and dont like to go back to windows to adjust Volume (which brings trouble to go back to game). Then, i have found this mod in some of board discussion.it has been made for ALT+F4 combination to close game but it has a side (good) effect to Enable Keyboard Sound Controls in Skyrim. it doesnt effect media keys like forward or stop (at least on my computer), but effects volume and mute keys inside Skyrim. Thanks to author of this little SKSE mod, and to "dstansberry" who found out this usage of this mod.
