Skybroom
Hi everyone!I'm working on a standalone follower. He uses the custom body, face textures and so on. Please help, I can not get rid of this metal blink on his eyes. All textures and paths look fine. It's The Eyes of Beauty. And how can I set the body tone into accordance with the face tint? They slightly differ.Thank you in advance. http://imgdepo.com/id/i10247236.jpg
Algabar
First of all: Nice young man! Make sure you really copy all eyes textures to your follower's folder: diffuse map, .sk, .n and (if you use custom versions of these) also eyecubemap and eyenvironmentmask_m. Doublecheck paths in CK and in Nifskope. You also have to adjust the paths for all the head textures in Nifskope. Also make sure you haven't checked "Glow map" in "Shader Flags 2" under "BSLightingShaderProperties". That glow looks like something's wrong with your shader settings. If in doubt, what the correct settings are, download a male follower form the Naxus and use the files as a "blueprint" for your mod. As for the body/head discoloration: You have to set your follower's skin tone in the CK to the exact RGB numbers you used when exporting the head in Racemenu. Also make sure you set your follower's weight exactly to the value you used when exporting. Mistakes here can lead to discoloration issues. Don't forget to replace the tintmask in textures/actors/characters/facegendata/tintmasks/yourfollowersname with the one you created when exporting the head. This part is often overlooked. Be prepared to still get a slight neck seam on males though - AFAIK, there are almost no absolutely seamless textures for male bodys out there... Skybroom
Thank you. Can't upload Actor in CK. It crashes. I have RGB numbers. Can I edit skin tone without CK somehow, via Tes5Edit or NifSkope? Edited February 4, 2017 by Skybroom
