DarkwingDirk
((This is kind of a skeleton description at the moment. As time goes on I'll flesh it out more!)) http://i.imgur.com/XeH5f.png Name: Brolnir (Surname to come later) Race: Nord Age: Mid 20s Height: 6ft Weight: 170lbs Combat style: "Refined berserker." While he may start off a fight with well placed blows and calculated techniques, once the blood starts to flow and things get hairy Brolnir tends to let instinct take over. Preferring weapons that can be used with one or both ends, his main strength is his flexibility (in terms of thinking on his feet) and nearly animalistic ferocity. It is practically guaranteed that he dishes out far worse than what he takes, the main reason he has lived thus far. Armor: A tarnished mail half-sleeved hauberk beneath segmented iron plate. Boiled leather gauntlets and boots with thin iron plates riveted in, and a barbuta-type helm with pointed nasal & leather gorget. Weapons: Yew hunting bow capable of piercing mail at a moderate distance if bodkin-tipped arrows are used. Simple steel hand and a half sword, and a small camp hatchet that is usually stuffed into his belt. Also carries a round wooden shield covered in boiled leather with an iron boss in the center. Personality: A quiet young man, though rarely brooding, he warms up to people well enough when he feels that they deserve his trust, a bit like a dog toward strangers. Being back-stabbed on the job a few times in the past has seen to this, but once one gets past that Brolnir is a thoughtful and friendly sort. Make a friend of him and you have a friend for life. His fuse is a bit short, however... he's spent more than one night in the drunk tank for breaking a few noses. Half the time he himself hadn't had anything to drink. Background: Sellsword, treasure hunter, occasional thief, Brolnir has had many jobs during his wanderings about the province of Skyrim. With civil war erupting, and the return of the dragons, Brolnir has had no trouble keeping himself busy. As far as the war goes, Brolnir has no love for either faction. While he initially thought to take the side of the Stormcloaks, a visit to Windhelm quickly changed his mind. The murders of women and the incompetence of the city guard, the bigotry, and the overall condition of the city itself were enough to make him think twice. While he mostly sells his sword to the Imperials and those on their payroll, he resents their bending to the will of the Thalmor. But in war, one must pick the lesser of evils.
