Thandal
Sorry you're having problems, athesus, but you haven't given enough information to help you. From the little that you've said, I'd guess that you haven't got an intact copy of the program(s). I can't speak for DAM, (since I've never used it) but DAMM does NOT "install" in the usual Windows sense. It is just extracted from the archive, and placed anywhere on the drive. It then runs as a stand-alone program.

Thandal
As I noted in my reply above, I can't speak about DAM directly. I use DAMM. The steps for getting DAMM to work are: Download the archive file "DAO-Modmanager_1_9d-277.7z", then EXTRACT all the files to a folder, (not your "\[user's documents]\Bioware\Dragon Age\packages\core\override" folder! Anywhere else.) then launch (double-click) "DAO-Modmanager.exe". NOTE: The extracted executable program is approximately 1GB in size, and needs the associated servicecontrol and .dll files the author provided. (And obviously you'll need a utility program that knows how to extract .7z files in the first place. Besides 7-Zip itself, current versions of WinZip and WinRAR can handle that format.)
