Drop your weapons!

I recently installed a mod called "Grab and eat all in one" this mod allows you to eat/drink and equip weapons you see lying around the waste without the need to go into your inventory and stop the game.

This has been a game changer for me because I absolutely..dread pausing the game to scroll through countless inventory!

Anywho, with this mod in addition with (War of the Commonwealth) I found myself in long gunfights. My primary weapon being an automatic pistol. I found myself picking up the weapons of my enemies to keep the fight interesting, (also to save on pistol ammo).

 

Picking up weapons of fallen enemies on the fly and using them seamlessly gives a new dynamic to combat that I love. However... I find it a major hassle that after I've engaged in this epic fight, picking up all sorts of weapons, I then have to go into my inventory and drop the weapons I picked up or suffer from encumbrance. :sad:

 

This mod request would be adding an activator that can be placed in the favorites menu that Drops your currently equipped weapon! That way you can really get into that survivor role of scavenging for weapons and using your surroundings! (not having 20 invisible weapons hiding on your person) All the while, not having to worry about that pipe rifle, or wooden board left by your enemies clogging up your inventory.

 

Enemies leave countless weapons on the ground, why limit yourself to a few favorite when you can put your enemies "lucky blaster" to work against his friends, and then drop it seamlessly and move onto the next :D

 

I don't know much about modding activators, but it seems like something that is doable... let me know, and if you are a champ that does make this mod, let me know! I will be the first to download!!!! Thanks nexus!!

it'd be cool if you could just press E or R in the middle of a gun bash and actually huck the gun at an enemy to stagger them
