ENTS!!!

Alright so i had a discussion on r/skyrim (reddit) about the possibility of having Ents like beings in skyrim. sure we have spriggans but its not NEARLY the same. The idea would be that a texture could be mapped maybe over a giant? and the ents would only live in forests and would be hard to see. they are nice and normally solitary, however they will get extremely aggressive and MUCH harder to kill than giants. maybe even quests relating to people cutting down the ent's forests (aka DESTRUCTION OF RIVERWOOD! ALVOORR!)

anyways that was my idea, i hope you think its good as well.

btw off topic, anyone feel like there should be a harry potter style werewolf mod?

Lore can be made to encompass them since Elder Scrolls can pretty much testify to a rough translation from D&D.

It certainly fits in this world.

They don't have to be called any variation of Ent, Tree Ante or whatever. Perhaps even...Gloam Hist.

Or just a forest guardian, with the concept of Princess Mononoke in mind.

:armscrossed: Hmmmm....I like that idea as well. But the thought of trees, akin to the appearance of an LOTR ent combined with the WoW tree things...intrigues me. Especially sense it would add a whole new threat...like the instant kill dragon bite...but instead....the instant kill Giant Tree grab to the throw up in the sky and fall to your dead power.

For lore's sake, how about making them part of the Spriggan family?

You know like they could be called Spriggan Patriarchs and so on.

Best idea for a Lore-good and still not too "elderish" scheme :)

What about placing them into different locations, lige the spriggans, not trolling around, but wayting, beeing "harmless" so far, except someone HUNTS a pet or sthg like that :)
