Stracuzzi Posted January 19, 2012 Share Posted January 19, 2012 I've been having a problem where anything related to a quest will not show up inside of a container. Keys notes weapons etc. any quest objective and its not there I've tried everything to solve the problem I've tried everything I can to fix it and still can't seem to figure it out. I tried disabling all mods. I've had to use setstage in console to fix things constantly and player.additem to give myself the right quest item because i'll go somewhere i need something from and it just wont be there. Example:When I was loud and clear and you're suspose to find the note inside of the safe. It wasn't there I had to setstage in console to move on to the next part of the quest. I figured maybe the quest was bugged. so i kept on my adventure. When I went to do onmund's request at the college wanted It wasn't in the chest it said it should be in. setstage again. at this point I was really hoping i just had bad luck. Then I was doing the Legend of Galdur quest and when i got to the mage that was suspose to be holding the ivory claw it wasn't there. And thats when i finally accepted that my game had to be buging out somehow. So I tried uninstalling and disabling all mods. nothing. I've tired everything I could think of but nothing has fixed the problem. its starting to pretty much render my game unplayable. I currently am stuck outside of mzulft not able to get inside cause the key to the entrance isn't on the mages body outside. is there anything I can do? or is my save file more than likely bugged?
