Westworld Posted January 19, 2012 Share Posted January 19, 2012 Okay, so i thought about a mod that could alter damage in everything, so if you got an arrow in the head you were instant dead, and if you had armor you could take more hits by a sword and if you hit a guy with like steel armor, you will be knockbacked, but he would also. Maybe also if they had bad armor or clothes they could easily die by 1-3 slices of a sword. Dont get me wrong, you will also die easily, like it would be a lot harder, but also easier. But if they get the first hits, your basicly dead. It will look like the mode in DMC4 thats called like "Heaven or hell" or something like that. I just thing that its a cool idea. hankkieser Posted January 19, 2012 Share Posted January 19, 2012 there isnt many mods like that, but there are huge amounts of combat mods in the nexus, probably heard of deadly reflex? it makes it waaay harder as enemies are harder to kill, but so are you. if you hit them in the chest with an arrow in juuust the right place, they'll drop dead blooding spurting from their chest. aim an arrow for their head at just the right angle, head will explode. and if your up close and personal, and you stagger them, stick them with your sword and kick them of your blade. But when i played it, you didnt die by one shot to the head, besides i dont like all the blood. If i need all the blood. (ive only done it once :P) but their head will, explode lol. what you may want is to add DR6 with UV2 (unnecessary violence) and then see if you can modify the ratios. you'll need a patch to combine them, but you can do it. besides, while DR has the better engine in my opinion, UV has dual wielding. hankkieser Posted January 31, 2012 Share Posted January 31, 2012 an offhand is a modded sword that is basically a shield with a sword mesh. since its impossible due to scripting to wield two weapons, they needed to make a new idea, so ur basically attacking with a shield, but it looks like its a sword due to the mesh. but you take what you can get i guess Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
