fortevn69
Hi, I was back to Fo4 after a long time and truly love to see how the modding community had developed. Awesome! I've get some mod to be my baseline and I really love them. However I'd like to ask if anyone can recommend something more to "enhance" the experience. As I'm downloading the new texture pack I won't need anymore graphic enhance. Using only DECENT ENB and Enhanced Light and FX, I guess the game is looking great enough for me. (GTX 1080 + i7-7700 running at all maxed 1440p) What I need is some "overhaul". Maybe perks, animation, armors, weapons, items etc...I've also found some "alternative starts", would say I need those because Fo4 "intro" was even more annoying than Skyrim, Fo3 and FNV combined. But which is good? Good here means stable, compatible and doesn't require a lot of other stuff Thank you very much.
LobbyUP
Awsome to hear your getting back into this sweet game. With ever play through i allways start with these mods: For weapons and armor-AWKCR and with Armorsmith extended -UCO Unified Clothing Overhaul-Extended Weapon mods (adds a ton of more mods to the vanilla weapons) -WeaponSmith extended (Use it a lot but does cause conflicts with level lists, so can be more work to use FO4edit to add some guns into the levellist)-CROSS Pre-war Cybernetics (must checkout) Animations- Button lowered weapons (convenient and nice to have for the immersion)-Grab that damn mag (if you use non vanilla guns its a sweet fix, looks right for all guns except the tommygun) Npc overhauls -Raider overhaul (makes raiders have more diverse armors/clothes/powerarmor and adds a bunch of cool stuff)-We are the minutemen (Makes the minutemen more usefull and changes there outfits to match their theme, another must checkout) Radio- old world radio ( adds 30+ radiostation, very awesome) Settlement mods -Spring Cleaning (omg this mod allows you to use the workbench to get rid of a lot of crap/garbage) or "Scrap everything"-Robot home Defence ( you can have a robot army follow you)-Homemaker (adds a bunch of stuff to make for settlements)-Better settlers-CREAtive clutter (allows you to make places more lived in, with adding more workshop props)-Northland diggers (must checkout adds more thing for settles to do, so they can make copper and much more for you) Playerbody mods-Lots More facial hairs-Lots more female hairstyles-Lots more male hairstyles (all three of these give a ton more hair options, very close to vanilla too)-cbbe?-LOOKSMENU (makes editing your character easier aswell you can save presets so you can tranfer faces to new characters, you need script extender)-Looksmenu compendium( adds more face extras like tattoos, eyeshadow, makup, scares, dirt, and more Followers-Sexy hancock (makes hancock actually look like the king of the zombies, check this out)-True reporter ( it can be a piper replacer but i just use it for the outfit)-Everyones best friend ( allows you to bring a companion AND dogmeat at the same time) Something else I would also recommend my main menu replacer <3Fallout Time - Main Menu Replacer shameless self plug Edited February 8, 2017 by LobbyUP
damanding
Spring Cleaning is outdated, unsupported, and does some funky stuff behind the scenes. Scrap Everything is a much better choice. It's also currently supported and updated. I also highly recommend waiting on Northland Diggers until the author publishes his planned update. The old version is extremely buggy. If you're into Settlement building, I have an article on all the best mods for that: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/articles/384/
LobbyUP
wow i didnt even know, always worked for me but im sure its heavy on the game. Ive always used spring cleaning b/c i have the option to pick what group of things i want delete, so i can just scrap dirtpiles and concrete and not buildings. but i'll probably try this eventually. oh and demanding thanks for creative clutter, you probably made half my house haha. I'll be honest, I started off talking Evanpox and Dinozaurz into combining their work into one mod with it's own menu because I hated the Decorations>Misc category so much. Then I found MsRae and talked her into joining the team because she had the same mini crafting station idea I had and more skills to make it actually happen. I also made all the lazy furniture because I'm a really lazy person and I just want to stick one thing down, not a ton of things. :D A lot of what I made for the mod was stuff that looks like how I personally liked decorating my own houses.
