Thankfully, that seems not to be the case; if it was Valve Time, it wouldn't be released until 11:00 PM on December 20th.

I figured that would be the time frame and as I stated in another thread, I expected them to release a statement sometime this week. I'm disappointed though, even though I strongly suspected this was the case, I had hoped to see a release around the end of the month. Further the statement seems to give credence to the ones theorizing the delay was related to Steam. But it does not really matter. I have been hoping for an expedient release. I've recently quit my job and have a bit of free time on my hands while I search for another join. I have a really big idea for a mod and was hoping to get a jump start on it before my job search jumped into high gear. It doesn't appear to be the case. However, it is fully possible that the universe could screw me over and I will still be able to get that jump start. We'll just have to wait and see. I guess in the meantime, I'll just have to do some spring cleaning. *sigh*

Whenever Bethsoft or Todd Howard make a statement, I believe the total opposite based on their past record of smoke and mirrors PR.
