Bosmer63
I played this game with absolutely no problems during november and december. I used minor mods like improved blood and whatnot. I then uninstalled it sometime in december cause I got bored of it. Now I decided to play it again. Downloaded the latest patch (1.3 I believe), downloaded a few mods and.. it doesn't work. The game crashes to desktop without any errors after playing it for 5 minutes. I tried launching it directly instead of through NMM, but now it just freezes and I have to ctrl + alt + del (please no buckley jokes). Help? EDIT: Oh, I also installed the new nvidia drivers. might that have something to do with it? Edited January 19, 2012 by Bosmer63
Bosmer63
hmm it might be a problem with the drivers. I see now that none of my games work after I updated them. EDIT: Okay I uninstalled the latest driver and installed the one that came with the computer, the problem persists. On other hand I am able to play all my other games. Guess it's just Skyrim then. Bosmer63
Huh.. apparently the crashes only occur in fullscreen. I'm playing in windowed mode right now and haven't crashed yet. It kinda breaks the immersion though with all the icons being visible. EDIT: Downloaded this: http://skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=4and now it's all good.
