taryl80
I have build a new town with 30+ citiziens (farmers, guardsman, mayor and so on). I have put the citiziens in 3 factions. 1 Guard-Faction, 1 Citizien Faction and 1 Bar-Citizien Faction (for technical reasons + multiple minor factions for the merchants). Everything works fine, but when I go into an interior and kill there a guard or citizien, the citiziens and guards outside in the exterior world didn´t attack me. By the citiziens that is ok, but the guards should attack me then. Have I made something wrong? Edited February 8, 2017 by taryl80
Urtho
You have to edit the faction relation settings. Make the guard faction a Friend or Ally of the citizens faction. Could also do the same for the citizen faction if you want but not required from what you say you want to do. Also check the AI for your guards - make sure they have the "helps friends and allies" option checked under the AI data tab of the character record. taryl80
I have delete now the guards faction and put the guards in the citizien faction. I have check every guard. Every guard have the stats: Aggression: AggresiveConfidence: FoolhardyAssistance: Helps Friends and AlliesMorality: No Crime like it should be (the diamond city guards seem to have the same stats). The Citizien Faction is Friend or Allie to every Minorfaction (like the merchant ones). Aaand still... Can I shoot a guard in the middle of the town and nobody cares. The other Guard 2 steps away have just take the oppurtinity and used the now empty chair :| It drives me crazy, something I must have forgotten to do. Edit: Only then I steal something the guards in line of sight attack me but they don´t care if I murder someone.Edit²: The stats of the citizien faction btw.:Tab General) Filled with all the faction and npcs and set on "can be owner".Tab Crime) Track Crime - Attack on sight and I have activate there the "shared crime list". Urtho
Try adding the guards to the actual Guard Faction - it is a separate faction meant to deal with crimes and arrest. One other thought, are you testing on a new game? I can't recall if faction data is one of the items that is baked into saves but it might be. taryl80
It work now! I have rebuild the guard faction and build a new guard-crime faction and allied both with every other town faction. If the guard see now any crime, they start attacking me. Pew, thx for your help. Now I can scratch this problem from my list . Btw. Mostly I test without making a new game. Mostly I do a save in an interior in front of an exterior what I like to test before I step my first time to it, or if a interior is not avaible I just save 2-3 outside exterior cells for my test-exterior cell.
