alex3313
So, I've been trying to replace one of the skintints (06) with Dorian's (I just think that one looks better, am I nitpicking? Hell yeah). And even if I simply export and import the texture, edit it in gimp or photoshop to make sure the compression and alpha are ok, change the version of the modmaker, I still get this annoying error I wondered if perhaps the issue was with the dds settings and if anyone could tell me which ones I should pick (either in gimp, photoshop or any other software). Deleted23328924User
I know this error message, I had it sometimes with my pj mods. It happens if the game/DirectX can't reflect a certain texture because it's too high or something like that and this is often a problem of the latest DAI Tools Suite Loader/ModMaker itself. May I ask which version of ModMaker you use? I recommend to try an older version of ModMaker ( v1.1.0.16 alpha ) this has often been a good solution for me. You can get it here: http://daitools.free...ment-t1065.html .dds settings: Import Photoshop- Open/Converst Images to 8 bits- Show this dialog Gimp- Should already have the preset:- Load mipmaps- Automatically decode YCoCG/AExp images when detected- Show this dialog( Works for me but I'm not sure if it's really necessary. ) Export Photoshop- Export/Save as DXT5 ARGB 8 bpp- 2D Texture- Generate MIP maps Gimp- Export/Save as BC3/DXT5- Generate MIP maps
