Modern Warfare 2 and Metro 2033 Outfits Request (FO3 Revival)

As the title states, it would be pretty dope if anyone with the skill would be able to recreate these mods from FO3.

Initially, I was a console gamer, and by the time I got to switch to PC gaming, the Modern Warfare 2 mod had been removed from just about every site that it had originally be hosted on. It had been available for a long time, and I'm assuming it was pretty popular before it was removed for reasons unknown to me. After about 2 or 3 months of on and off searching, I was able to find it on some dark corner, backwood website that was in all Russian, and it worked like a charm! Fallout 4 has been out for a while now and there is a severe lack of modern military gear. Sure, there are plenty of retextures for military fatigues, but where are the vests, the rigs, the elbow and knee pads, the helmets with night vision goggles, the rucksacks? FO3 was littered with those.

I think if someone were able to recreate the MW2 mod, it would be appreciated by many who lack the skill and or time.

There was also a mod for the Metro 2033 ranger uniform, which was perfect if you wanted to feel extra apocalyptic.

Copyright violations tend not to last very long on any site that cares about remaining legal/in good standing.

The MW mods fall under that ruling since all the content in them was taken directly from the games, not newly remade copies.

If someone was to make a mod of such items, they would have to remake them from scratch, that way there is no copyright/legal issues.

Just for future reference, downloading random mods that have been pulled from every legit site off an obscure site in a language you can't read is a really bad idea. Like, I'd start running a malware scan yesterday level bad idea. (and I mean that sincerely- run a malware scan as soon as humanly possible. Now. This very second. Before you do anything else.)

Holy smokes I'm late to reply, but am only doing so because I'm perturbed at your comment assuming I'm new to computers. FYI, I've been working on computers for 8 years now, being the IT guy for my family, friends, Geek Squad, and have gone to school as well...so hush.

I know a guy whose been working with computers for 15 years as a development support engineer, and he didn't know what the .pdb files he packs into release builds do.

There's pretty much 0 chance of getting a virus through .esp/esm/esl files though, unless someone bothered doing security research into the FO4 executable.
