Eolath
If you packed it in with 7-zip, remember to pack it into 'zip' not '7-zip' You just place it in your data folder (The package) and upload it from there, or any folder you can locate easily. If you didn't pack it yet, that's no wonder. And try looking for it first, if it's not there you probably didn't save the mod correctly.
blaqk_fire
but the problem is i can't locate the file on my pc.after i save it from the construction set i can't find the esp file.to save it i loaded the oblivion.esm (but not as active), changed the stuff and clicked save.in data files, after the launch window thing, it says all the mods i downloaded and my own mods. I can checkmark them to activate them and stuff.but in computer>program files>bethesda>oblivion>data i see all the downloaded mods but not my own. I tried doing a computer search but nothing showed up. I can't physically find the file.Any suggestions on where to look please?
bben46
Try using the windows built in search function - search for *.esp and it will locate every file ending with .esp on your computer with a full path. If you remember the exact name, serach for exactneme.* and you will get every file with that name no matter what is after it. - exactname.esp as well as exactname.test or exactnameNumberOne.exe If you don't remember the exact name - "Did I name it ExactName or Exact_Name?" try searching with a partial name - such as exact*.* will return exactName.NNN as well as Exact_Name.esp and exactoKnife.exe Try it with different spellings too. Windows likes to put things into the C:\Documents and Settings\username\My Documents folder when it doesn't know where else to store them. You did remember to use 'Save As' didn't you? just 'save' overwrites whatever you were using as a template with the same name it had when you originally opened it.
