CTD no error message

So it seems that people all over the internet ever since the last patch have had issues with random crashes and frozen loading screens. Some seem to be fine, some of us less so. Tired of being one of these less fortunate people, I've decided to ask if anyone smarter and more knowledgeable than me knows a solution to this issue, since I'm not going to bother waiting for a patch that probably won't work anyway without at least trying my absolute best to solve the problem. SO! I figured I'd finally ask for help personally, see if I can figure out what the hell is going on here.

Tthe game frequently crashes, without even giving me an error message, when I run in the wilderness. And we're not talking cross country here, we're talking about not being able to run from the city gates to the stables here. Among the issues I've heard others discuss are savegame corruption/bloating, which seems reasonable as my save files are starting to crawl towards 14MB (currently at 13.7), and another character I made, which is currently at 3.41MB, managed to run from Riverwood to Whiterun without issues. If this is the case, is there anything I can do to undo its effects? One of the problems my search has come across is conflicting sources - for instance have I heard about uGridstoLoad, but haven't dared implement it since I don't understand if it stabilises or worsens the game (and my guess being on the latter). I've heard about texture mods being a problem, but removing the only one I had didn't fix it. I've even heard that my graphics card (or rather, chipset) being so useless would hinder me from running the game, but considering the hundreds of hours I've played, this hardly seems reasonable (does it?) I've checked the Steam forums, I've checked the Bethesda forums, I've checked random other forums that have come up when googling. My computer had some memory issues - whenever too many applications ran at once, I would get warning messages that some programs would have to be shut down to continue running (even though ignoring these messages resulted in little to no ramifications). I decided to try and counter this by freeing up over 11GB of space on my hard drive and having my swap file readjusted (both automatically and manually) and I haven't succeeded in resolving the issues at all. I tried Windowed mode, both resolutions available... this made the problem even worse, as now the game would often freeze and then crash upon loading! (I got an error message one time it did that though, that was nice...), I tried new drivers for the aforementioned crappy chipset, to no avail. I also tried installing the latest version of ENBSeries, which seemed to smooth my awful FPS out (placebo effect, I suppose?) by a modicum, but did nothing to help with stability.

It seems the game crashes faster the faster I travel - werewolf sprint crashes almost instantly, regular sprint pretty quickly too, running gives around the aforementioned distance of between most cities' gates and their stables, whereas walking allows me to get a few hundred feet away before it collapses. It also crashes near-instantly upon entering certain interiors - only ones I've noticed so far are Understone Keep (which I've heard others complain about as well), Valthume (main chamber only, vestibule and catacombs appear fine) and Jorrvaskr. Note that this is only because I haven't entered very many interiors since the problems appeared, not because I think it's a rare occurrence, it's probably disturbingly common.

Another peculiarity that I've seen and don't think I've heard of anywhere else is that the game seems to hang up during loading screens - new hints and tips appear and the smoke keeps moving, but once the song finishes another one won't start. This, however, seems to resolve itself if I simply minimise the game with Ctrl + Alt +Del and then opening it again, which is nice if somewhat annoying, and rather strange.

As for my specs...

Processor: Intel® Celeron® 2.20GHz

2GB RAM

Mobile Intel® 4 Express Series Chipset Family

(Yes, I realise this is an awfully low-end computer, but it's worked for running the game so far...)

So now I'm pretty much at my wit's end and don't know what to do, assuming there's anything I can do until the next patch is released. If someone knows anything, anything at all, to help me, please, by all means, do so. If you need any more info (for helping you helping me), feel free to ask.
