Saxap0wnd
I was thinking that gems do apsoluty nothing right now. so why not use gems as large capisity Enegery storage devices. Rubys for Health, sapphires for magic, and emeralds for stamina. you could use them in enchanting instead of enchantments and soul gems on weapons and armor. when your traveling around you could use a "charge sapphire/ruby/emerald" spell, this would store ur magic / health/ stamina in the wheat ever gem is you are currently holding. Ti use the stored enegery simply use what ever attack like normal and when you run out of enegery you draw power from the gems. when ur done fighting you you regain health and what not like normal however uf gems do not and you have to recharge them. an example of this would be palying as a spell sword and cast ing lots of spells when ur mana runs out you can draw on th e enegery from ur weapon to cast more spells. or ur going mely and do ing allkinds of power attacks when ur stanima runs out you can keep using the power in ur gems. ps this is not an original idea i got this from the earagon books. Nyhilisa
Well I tried reading it, found it impossible.could you try with fewer spelling mistakes? It's not that bad. On topic, it might be hard to get the balance right, but it's an intriguing idea. Maybe refine it based on the quality of the gem, if someone were to do it - flawless holds more than normal ruby, perhaps. Or hell, maybe use a charged gem in jewelcrafting to add a small bonus to whatever you're making, without sacrificing the enchanting slot. That would be *really* hard to balance properly, but fun maybe.

Rennn
It's called bumping, not reposting, and it's a great way to lure the banhammer. Edited January 29, 2012 by Rennn
BananaThug
Despite a lack in spelling skills, this does sound like a cool idea.
